This project is for ASCEM F-Basin Modeling.
This mesh starts a triangluation based on the F-Basin shape and features; F-Basin and Barriers. The triangulated surface is used to create layer surfaces by assigning elevations equal to or relative to the DEM elevations. The surface layers are stacked and connected such that trianglular prism elements are formed between layers.
Material elements (blocks) are identified to represent layers and features such as the basin and barriers.
Exodus side sets are identified as boundary faces along bottom, sides, and top.
Future work may use a different boundary polygon and consider strategies for upper aquifer refinement so that elements at outlet are not so thin compared to element at outlet where layer is much thicker.
Mesh Files are available on local servers or you can download the compressed ".tar.gz" archive.
See mesh details for each version below.

V2.2 Input Elevations are from Haruko.
Sent by email May 5 2015 in file Mesh_interfaces20150415.zip. Images showing comparisons of V2.2
and previous V2.1 surfaces are included in the
Mesh and Surface QA Page.
These surface elevations do not pinchout the upper aquifer at outlet side of mesh.
V2.1 Input Elevations are from Haruko. They come from Greg's 2010 data set but are subset and converted to SRS coordinates. This conversion results in ground surface elevations that do not pinchout the upper aquifer at outlet side of mesh.

MESH FILES for V2.2b Prism Mesh Converted to Tet Mesh (for Rao)
This converts the V2.2 Prism mesh to a tet mesh. There are two versions, mat3 has 3 material layers as defined by the SRS Elevation surfaces. The mesh mat7 adds the 4 materials defining the F Basin box, and each of the 3 barriers.
