Purpose of Project

Source is Corner Point Geometry with thin layers and wide hex spacing. Create mesh for FEHM without negative volumes and without negative coupling coefficients.

Source mesh is corner point hex with 4 layers, and 3 materials for Insalah Site. Middle layer is 4m thick, top and bottom are 8m with aprox 500m lateral width.
This hex mesh does not have any zero or negative volumes. It is very thin with elements aprox 530 wide and 4 high.
