Arctic Intermediate Scale Stacked Meshes
These are selected images from the versions of stacked mesh used in intermediate scale modeling.

Polygons and Cells for each Layer
The intermediate scale layers need to represent tundra polygons with as few cells as possible so that a largeregion can be modeled. This differs from the fine scale layers which have more cells and higher resolution, modeling smaller regions.

Size of single layer:
The quadrilateral set has 259 nodes and 289 cells.
The triangle set has 451 nodes and 864 cells.

Mesh Layers and Materials
These are based on mesh design for Arctic Fine Scale meshing with a short and a tall version of each mesh.
The upper layers of both are the same. The tall mesh has deeper bottom and layers added.
