Arctic Intermediate Scale Polygons

General work flow followed for quad and triangle polygon sets used for Intermediate Scale Stacked Meshes.

Work Directory: /scratch/sft/tam/grid_gen/arctic/intermediate_scale/polys_intermediate

Step 1: Use Input poly and width data to create polygons with offset inner poly rings.

Use Uniform Half-trough and Rim Widths to create offset polygons.

Use Variable Half-trough and Rim Widths to create offset polygons.

Step 2: Run final scripts to create merged set of all polygons.

Start with Variable Offset Polygons with problem polygons removed.
Convert to Quad cells instead of triangulated cells.
Converge center cells at center point.

Fix and Add missing quad cell polygons.

Step 3: Adjust quad polygon set in response to modeling results.

Start with Quad Polygons and remove "slivers".

Step 4: Add version of polygon set that replaces quad cells with triangles.

Start with Final Quad Polygons.
Convert all quad cells into 2 or 4 triangles.
Center quads become single triangles sharing a vertice at the center point.
